Goose down cushions in gorgeous fabrics, pretty tea cups, art that stirs me, heavenly smelling flowers and delicious warm baths that I want to sink into… walks on the beach, delicious coffee, sunshine…

I have a beautiful vision.  And because of it, people’s lives are starting to change…

My vision:

“I am the owner and director of a multi-media lifestyle organisation that provides information, tools, resources and products for women around the world to create lives they love”

While this vision inspires me no end, it is not enough.  Because this vision does not describe the familiar chatter of our family breakfasts before school; it does not describe a morning cuddle in bed with my children, the love of my husband or the loyalty of my friends. It does not describe the music that fills our home or the flowers that adorn my dining table or my morning walk with Jack my dog.  It does not include the rush to complete homework or get to after school sport, it does not include dancing and parties…

And these to me, are the pieces of my world that make it beautiful.  That without which, the vision for my future would be empty.  These to me remind me that while an inspiring vision for my future is exciting, what is truly beautiful are the moments in my life that can so easily pass me by if I forget to love them…
